This is an independent portrayal Of Clint Barton . This is based around the comics but with my own spin and twist .▍ ❝   RULE TWO.Clint Barton is not an Avenger . He quit the Avengers after an incident that caused him to be Fired / Quit . He currently works for SHIELD . Head of his own department working on training recruits . As well leading said recruits on their own missions as well as going on his own .

An Important factor in my Clint's life is that he has no matter the the universe he takes place . Will always have a daughter named Ashley .

Lastly an important factor in this portrayal, Clint has twisted morals ,. He is more than okay with killing . Sometimes in the most brutal was possible . He does not enjoy it , and it often is a part of him that he questions a lot . I am happy to write with muses that don't agree with this and want him to change his ways ect . But please don't try and force him not to be that way .

He's a recovering Alcoholic which still struggles with his addiction . He beats himself up a lot and struggles a lot with his own head . Dealing with PTSD and trauma .

▍ ❝   I.
___Clint Barton was raised in Iowa , by an Harold and Edith Barton along with his Brother Barney . His father was an abusive drunk that constantly abused his family . Around the age of fourteen , his father killed himself and his mother in a car accident . Rather than stay in the care system Clint ran away and joined a circus where he learnt and honed his marksmanship . While at his circus he was spotted at sixteen by Phil Coulson and picked up by SHIELD to train at their academy .

▍ ❝   II.
Cint Barton trained under SHEILD from the age of sixteen onwards . He often disobeyed orders , and paid no attention in classes . This was until he met Bobbi .
( Mockingbird ) . Bobbi helped him understand and train to be a SHIELD agent . He quickly became top of the class . And to the day holds the record for the shooting range record . After the academy he was recruited into S.T.R.I.K.E . SHEILDs best team . After saving Natasha , they were both picked up by the Avengers and he left SHEILD and joined the Avengers . Around this time he also had a daughter with his then partner Bobbi Morse at the age of Eighteen . They soon divorced and Clint became the sole parent of the child .

During his time at the Avengers , he often found himself out of place and being treated more as a weapon that a person . During his time he remained close and formed strong partnerships with Natasha Romanoff And Wanda Maximoff .Six years into his tenure at the Avengers . Clint locked up a criminal , he pleaded with the Avengers than he was more dangerous and they should lock him up more securely or kill them . They denied this , a year later . This person broke and kidnapped Clint's daughter , during this Clint tracked down the criminal . And during a heated moment tore out the criminals neck with his own teeth .Upon finding out The Avengers promptly told him that it was unacceptable . Clint argued his case but he promptly quit . But was essentially fired from the Avengers . ( See more in the Solo Sections of my pinned) . Clint since then joined SHIELD and have been there ever since .

▍ ❝   MCU.Clint Barton is thirty five after Endgame and carried on working at SHIELD since the events of it . He carried on working there until he's needed or called by friends in need or anything in-between .
